Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using CVs Analyzer ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CVs Analyzer is an AI-powered tool that analyses your CV against a job description, scores your ATS keyword match, identifies gaps, and produces a tailored version of your CV. Processing is performed via Anthropic's Claude API.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to share any documents you upload.

4. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Token Economy

The Service operates on a token-based system:

• Instant analysis costs 2 tokens; batch analysis costs 1 token.
• Tokens are reserved at the time of job submission.
• Tokens are only refunded if the AI provider returns an insufficient-credits error. All other failures (including AI errors) consume the reserved tokens.
• Tokens have no cash value and are non-transferable except via admin-issued gift codes.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload documents you do not own or are not authorised to share.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent security measures, or interfere with the Service.
• Abuse the support system or submit knowingly false inquiries.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all CV and job description content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to process that content solely to deliver the Service to you. We do not use your content for any purpose beyond service delivery.

8. AI Outputs

The tailored CVs and analysis results produced by the Service are AI-generated and provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees regarding their accuracy, completeness, or suitability. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before use.

9. Data Retention

Uploaded CV and job description data is automatically deleted after your configured retention period (default: 1 hour after job completion). Generated PDF files are deleted at the same time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control, without prior notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CVs Analyzer and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any decisions made based on AI-generated outputs.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of material changes.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Account settings. Upon deletion, all your personal data and job history is permanently erased. We may also terminate your account for breach of these Terms.
